Kairos Moment Wedding Films

Melissa and Lester had a beautiful ceremony. It was outdoors yet private. There is nothing like having a wedding outdoors - everything just looks so beautiful! Having an outdoor wedding also allows you to do something unique like a dove release.

Doves choose one partner for life and make this commitment until death. The white dove has been used throughout history as a symbol of Love, Peace, Purity, Faithfulness and Prosperity. It is said that if doves are seen on the wedding day, a happy home is assured.

Amber and Nick are two of the nicest people I’ve met and it is obvious that they are a joy and blessing to those around them.

Amber was born weighing a mere 1lb 13oz and doctors told her parents that she would never go home with them. Twenty six years later, she is healthy and marrying a man who is just as nice and caring as she is.

They are very much in love and Nick couldn’t contain his excitement and anticipation as Amber walked towards him down the aisle!

Katie and Michael were such a blast to film! Everyone was so hospitable, friendly, and having a great time!

Katie was excited all day and couldn’t wait to get married… it didn’t hurt that all her bridesmaids and both her sisters were so excited with her! You could sense the jitters of excitement throughout the morning and she couldn’t wait for Michael to see her walking down the aisle towards him.

It was a beautiful day outside, the church was beautiful, and the view from Benton’s was gorgeous being able to see across the Kansas City landscape and locate the famous landmarks around town. Katie and Michael wanted the night to be romantic and fun and they had both… from the intimate setting of Benton’s to the Irish-Catholic rowdiness ;) this wedding was a night to remember for Katie and Michael both.

Congratulations, Katie and Michael, and thank you for inviting us to share in the joy and excitement of your wedding day!

This wedding video is a very special one as Mijin is like an older sister to me. She happened to find “the one” in New York (New Jersey, actually) and wanted us to be there to capture her day!

If you have a destination wedding, you may want to consider commissioning us to film your wedding as the cost of our services with flying us out to New York and providing accommodations was comparable to hiring a local videographer in New York!

Their wedding day was beautiful, the weather was cool and the sun was out. There’s nothing like the NYC skyline and getting to film a wonderful couple! There was a lot to like about Mijin and John’s wedding from the beautiful outdoor scenery, to the great lighting in the church and reception, to the various cultural celebrations and food. But one thing was for certain: Mijin and John were surrounded by friends and family who truly care for them and love them.

I also got to work with some great photographers: Kenny Kim from Chicago, IL and Tomas Flint from Rochester, NY.

The story behind the Pepsi-Cola sign photo: Before the ceremony, we went to take photos at the Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City, where the Pepsi-Cola sign (made famous by the Britney Spears Pepsi Superbowl commercial) resides. Sadly, the area where the sign is was fenced off due to construction and there was no accessible way in. Kenny, undeterred by this minor setback somehow convinced Mijin and John to hop the railing, scurry across the thin ledge, and hop back over the railing to the restricted area ;) They quickly ran in, relished in the adrenaline rush of doing something they probably weren’t supposed to do, took some pictures, and ran back out over the ledge. Definitely risky, but definitely a memorable part of their wedding day.

Things have been really busy and I am trying to catch up editing all these weddings! Good things come to those who wait ;)

Nevertheless, Steve couldn’t wait to marry the girl of his dreams! From the beginning of the day, Steve kept sneaking peaks of his bride-to-be and when it came time to kiss his bride, he couldn’t hold back his eagerness to seal the deal!
