Giveaway Contest: Free Wedding Film

If you haven’t figured it out already, I love my job! I have the best job in the world, mostly because I have the best clients in the world! It’s because of you that I’m able to put my talents to use and create something (from out of practically nothing) that you will treasure for the rest of your life and for generations to come!

With that said, out of an attitude of humility and gratitude, I want to be able to give something back. And what better way than to use my talents to serve a well-deserving couple… for FREE! If not for the success and support that you, as my clients, have given me, I would not be able to give in this manner.

So I want to hear some good, genuine, heart-felt stories!

If you are getting married before the end of 2009 or know of a couple who is, pass it forward and give them a heads up for a gift that they’ll never forget!

What If…?

Broken MemoriesWhat if your videographer doesn’t deliver as promised? What if the footage doesn’t turn out? What if everything is so dark and shaky that you feel sick watching your wedding video? What if it’s so boring that you don’t think you’ll ever watch your wedding video again… EVER?

What if you’re so upset about it that they offer you a FULL REFUND of all monies paid?

My guess is that it’s not the money you’re upset about.

Looking for the Perfect Wedding Song?

Are you looking for ideas of songs to use during different parts of your wedding?

WeddingWire has put together a Wedding Songs database that’s broken up into categories so that you can easily peruse their database for ideas and come up with your own song list.

The really cool thing about their database, though, is that they also provide links to iTunes and sometimes a YouTube video so that you can preview the songs immediately instead of having to purchase or search for the song first.

Here’s a list of the categories they currently have in their database:

Don’t Let This Happen To You!

ThePittsburghChannel.com: Company Stiffs Local Bride of Wedding Video

An excerpt:

“The perfect wedding takes months, sometimes even years, of careful planning, and everything was going according to plan for one local bride. But shortly after the wedding, things went sour.

“According to the bride, the company she hired to capture her wedding day in October still has not sent her the video.

“This particular company guarantees the best combination of quality and price…”

Read the rest of this news transcript…

The company mentioned in the article advertises nationwide… you may have heard of them…

All I have to say is:

  1. You get what you pay for.
  2. Make sure to check references of all your vendors (and get to know them Wink)

The Ultimate Groom’s Cake!

This, my friends, is PURE GENIUS!

This is MEAT CAKE, from Black Widow Bakery.

The T-bone steak drawn on it is not just a decoration… this cake is made with actual meatloaf, with ketchup between the layers, and mashed potatoes as the “icing!”

This is a dream come true for the carnivorous meat-loving man in your life ;-)

Trash the Dress

Kairos Moment Wedding Films was recently featured at the site Trash the Dress and is currently the only videographer highlighted on the site. This is great news for us to be recognized among some of the world’s best photographers!

Quoted from their site:

“Go ahead, you know you want to. Trash it. Get it dirty. Get it wet. Roll around in the mud. Drench it in the ocean. Totally trash it.Why? … Why not? You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only true love, right? Then you’ll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices:

1) Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet
2) Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun pictures while you do it!”

Trash the Dress is featuring our Bridal Elegance Glamour Video as an appealing alternative way of preserving your dress.
