We just recently celebrated Mary’s first birthday as a married couple :) In commemoration of this wondrous event, here is a post of my beatbox proposal to Mary on December 21, 2006.
For those of you that don’t know what beatboxing is or have never heard of it, beatboxing is emulating the sounds of a drum set with your mouth. But I have added a twist to it… I can beatbox a drum beat while singing or speaking words… AT THE SAME TIME!
Since most people I know cannot do this, I wrote a proposal poem for Mary and asked her to “Mary” me :)
Our beatbox proposal is excerpted from Our Love Story, which we showed our guests at our reception.

I’m really excited about this one!
We recently filmed the wedding of Richard and Diane Mahoney at the Lenexa Christian Center. Everyone was so fun to work with! You guys truly made editing this piece easy and worthwhile. I was so happy with how everything turned out.
This was also our first time using our new Smooth Flight™ Technology out in the field and we are very pleased with the results!

Thank you to the Mahoney and Sims families for commissioning us to film your wedding day! You truly were a beautiful couple and made filming a joy for us. God bless you and your new lives together!

Here’s a clip we recently did for Banfii Photography.
Roland is an extremely nice, laid-back guy who also wants to glorify God through his work. I consider it my privilege to have worked alongside him and to have this opportunity to create this piece for him.
